Beautiful clouds rolled through the Miami valley this afternoon. These clouds were spotted in Dayton and Springfield. I happened to catch them at work in Springfield thanks to some co-workers who gave me a heads-up. How they formed and more pictures ahead.
The pesky upper level low pressure that has been bringing rainy weather to the Miami Valley since Friday is expected to hang around until Wednesday. This system will bring periods of rain and cloudiness for the next few days until the feature moves east on Thursday. I would expect an additional 1-2 inches of rain across the Miami Valley through Thursday morning. Small breaks in the clouds with chances for some sunshine are also possible as some dry air gets pulled into the low. Highs will be slightly warmer through Wednesday, with temperatures close to 70.
